I solemnly.. I solemnly..... Did you know that Singapore's Oath of Allegiance ends with "so help me God"? Interestingly, in Australia, when people take the oath, or what they call the "Pledge of Commitment", they can choose whether or not to say the words "under God". Even more interesting(at least for me), it is optional for applicants for Norwegian citizenship to take the oath. Just some trivia for the day. (When I should really be reading through exam stuff.. :D)
The sun burns you. That heat really drains you. The humid air chokes you. The light wind blows air molecules that are so heavy with moisture onto your face and you want to scream. The cap on your head traps all the heat between itself and your scalp. In times like these... I wish I was overseas (where i'll be so damn cold I wish I was in Singapore). Ok la.. exaggerating just a little bit. But it's so hot this few days.. Just sitting here using my computer feels like I'm running a marathon. Ok, exaggerating again.
Dear friend who is coming to Singapore, come in shorts and the thinnest light colored t-shirt you have. If you insist on wearing shoes, thin socks will be good. Cut your hair short if it's long.
Mmm, my holidays officially start in 16 hours.
