young@heart

Just watched the documentary of the vocals group Young@Heart. This choir has an average age of 81 and they're cool. They sing rock, punk, country, pop.. Their vocals weren't fantastic, but that's really not the point. They have energy, they have fun, they enjoy what they do. That's what's most important isn't it? I think that's what I'm gonna do when I get old.

Shan't spoil it too much for you in case you wanna watch it, but it was kinda sad halfway through the documentary. You know, what happens with old people....

I really should get in touch with my musical side. If only playing the piano, singing, playing drums are forms of exercise. I'll gladly practice all the time. Oh which reminds me, I went to a jamming studio for the first time in my life. Haha.. Just to drum. Fun. Ultimate de-stresser. (But didn't like the old drum set which was falling apart.)

I'm rather excited about the new school. MyDrumSchool is finally moving to the new location (soon). Maybe I should go to Lavender and have a sneak peak at it. Apparently there are lots of new equipment, LCD tvs, a few studios.. Mmm...

I'm gonna try to keep 9 Jan and 10 Jan 2010 free (remind me). I want to watch AKA A Capella 6. Haha. Yes. An A Capella concert. I scared I forget. But eh? Actually, i'll get updates from them on Facebook cos I joined the group man!! Closet A Capella Junkie!!!

I ate 7 passionfruits within 20 hours. Yum.
