i'm in a very whiny mood right now. all i feel like doing is to whine and whine. and no one likes to hear someone whine. so i'll just take it out on my blog. it's so hard to fix a time to meet up with project group mates. and it's even harder when you have 3 different projects running at the same time plus many mid term tests are happening around now. i feel like watching slumdog millionaire and the curious case of benjamin button, but i haven't had the time to.
i walked pass That CD Shop a few days ago and they were playing a super nice song. so i went in to check it out and i'm so glad i did. because i've discovered a new fav mmm.. composer i should say. you know how funk gospel can sound so good. this is something like that. and there are slower songs too. an asian twist to some of the songs too. perfect. this french guy called eric something created this amazing new genre of music and it's good stuff. check out ERA.
but i guess, if you're normal, you won't enjoy the music i generally prefer. put an orchestra with a rock band, a few opera singers and a gospel choir together- that is goodness. enya to a whole new level. if only i can survive on just music. i'll be fat :)
happy valentine's day to whoever is celebrating by the way. and i mean it even though i'm gonna say what i'm gonna say next. honestly i don't see why it's such a big deal. don't mean to be a spoiler. but.. it's not like you have to love the one you love more just because it's valentine's day. what exactly are you celebrating anyway? if you love someone, you love them the same throughout the 365 days in a year. valentine's day is just a way for businesses to suck consumers' money. i believe the people i love know that i love them.
i loved gym this week because it was the first week of our 4rep sets program. 4 reps is just great compared to 12-16 reps. and it also means we end a lot earlier.. and got to play ultimate frisbee (aerobee actually). i like frisbee. and yay, my team won even though we had 2 girls 2 guys and the other team had 4 guys. eat that!!!
half delighted that project meeting is cancelled tmr morning. my group mate has to meet his boss at work early and he suggested we meet at 7.30am instead. and we all said NO!!!! like huh??? 7.30am project meeting?... but this also means i have project meeting next wednesday night at 9pm right after my CAT mid term exams. nvm. beats 7.30am on a saturday.
i feel so much lighter now. i think i just needed to talk. i need more girl friends to hang out with. haha. but then again, i need time first. battery running out. night
