tara was a good girl today.
when i put her on that spinning thing in the park, push her in the stroller, carry her on my back or spin her in the armchair at home, the only word she knows is "faster". fassta fassta fassta fassta. i was beginning to get tired of that word, so i asked, "is there any other word you can say???"
and she whispered, "peeeas...."
god, how do i reject a girl like this?
when liz went gardening this afternoon, tara and i went to a national park a short drive away. having a nappie bag, a food bag, a basket that tara insisted on bringing, her dolly and dolly's juicy bottle, tara's jacket and scarf, my jacket, my handbag, and the stroller and a lot of random stuff like books and balls while taking care of tara...was........not the easiest thing i've done in my life.
..but we had so much fun. we walked up the path and back down to the playground. we fed the ducks as well. then we played 'kick the ball around the field with no actual purpose'. read the story about numbers. tara can count 1,2 and she'll mumble along when i say 34567 and she can say 8. we rolled around on the grass and tried some forward rolls.
when we got into the car, she was just knocked out. yay! she took a good afternoon nap. went for tea in a nice garden with liz's friend, grandma judith..
in the afternoon, we had a tea party in the garden in front of the house. disney princess tea set with tonic water, watermelon and some grapes. liz and i cooked dinner after i went for a run. gordon ramsay's recipe-the tuna with sesame seeds one... yumyum. then tara had her bath. now she's in bed.
i need to shower and go to bed soon too.
