don't worry, be happy

I was so engrossed in the story, i didn't even know Tara fell asleep! I asked her, "do you wanna close your eyes and try to sleep?" She said,"no." So i continued reading. and she was asleep within 30 seconds after she said no. sleeping like an angel now.

today tara and i dropped liz off at mrs. nice old lady's(i'm not sure what her name is!) place to do some gardening, and we went to bobbin head national park for a walk. i enjoyed driving up and down the winding road. when we reached the park, we went to the playground, then we fed the ducks and some other birds. then we walked by the river and had a picnic. played hide and seek.. well. sort of.

you see, in our version of hide and seek, the 'seeker' gets to know where the 'hider' is hiding before she seeks. and i'm always the 'hider' and tara is always the 'seeker'. and when she 'finds' me she hugs my neck and shouts "i found you!!" and she gets so tickled.

then after that we went to the cafe. and like every other cafe we go to, it was full of mothers and their kids. and as usual, i get the oh-my-god-is-that-young-asian-girl-the-mother-of-that-little-blonde-girl!!!!?!!!!!?!!! look. used to it. haha..

a lady at the mall asked me, "is she yours?" haha.. i explained. and the father at the playground asked me, "are you..?" before he could continue, i said, "babysitter, yes."

i'm proud to say, i did not topple the pram, and tara did not bump her head, fall down or hurt her hands or knees when we were at the national park today. haha.. note: at the national park today.

please be happy. do yourself a favour.
