Just finished my daily defrosting session aka my bath. Today was cold.
I was wearing: thermals, full body titanium suit, wetsuit top, wetsuit hiking pants, superwarm top, spray top, life jacket.. When I tack, the hand that was holding the tiller extension can't close to hold my mainsheet, and the hand that was holding the mainsheet can't open to hold the tiller. (And this often resulted to a near capsize or a capsize.) (Which isn't exactly the best thing that could happen when its about 7 or 8 degrees in 12-15knots of wind.)
But it's so fun.
I can't ask for more.
Days like these keep me going.
For the love for Lake Garda, please take up sailing. (Or windsurfing) (Or cycling.. many many great cycling routes here)
