for justice

today will be the first day i'll be stepping into a protest room. don't like the idea of going into the room to face a row of judges but i have to.

i think i need bodyguards from now on. i have a feeling that the belgium coach will send assassins to murder me(or maybe he'll murder me himself). and it's highly possible considering his psychotic behavior and past records.

so this is what happened.. that guy had something against us Singaporeans since like forever. and so he decides to pick on us.. mostly me.. like everyday. you see, when you reach shore first, you'll naturally get pushed to the end of the parking area because everyone else is coming back to shore and need space for all the other boats to get in. and since the belgian girl is usually first few to get back, she's always being pushed to the end. and also, since i'm usually last few to get back to shore, my boat is always one of the nearest to the launching ramp. and when the belgian girl wants to launch.. he would skip the 10 boats between me and her boat and come straight to me and accuse me of blocking the way even though i wasn't. hey dude.. sorry i finished last man!! (try finishing last, then maybe you can launch first) and they could have easily maneuvered round the 10 boats and launched. but anyway.. he just wants to find a chance to insult and pick on Singaporeans.

"i think you singaporeans have a problem. you always like to block the way.. get lost and let others launch"

"i've had enough conversations with you and your stupid coaches who think they know everything.."

"if you ever want to become a good sailor, it's about time you start learning how to behave.."

"get out of the way"(he said that to victoria)

then today he got into an argument with Brett after saying un-nice things to me and Brett got irritated. So he got Mark to lodge a complaint against him. And... it turned into a proper protest since this is a Grade 1 event. And because i'm the usual victim of his verbal abuse the last few days, i was called into the protest as well.. mmm...

He has a record. Likes to shout of juries, committee boat, other coaches and sailors. Rule 69 a few years back.. and many people have lodged complaints and protests against him.. so.. it's not looking too good for him i think.

1 hour to go.

ANYWAY
today was so exciting. it's bizarre because they decided not to send the 100kg men sailing Finns out and send 60kg girls sailing radials out when the wind was 30 knots gusting to 35. by the time most of us reached the start line the AP over A came up and all of us girls had to struggle 1/2 an hour upwind back to shore. every tack you see boats capsizing and the adrenalin was pumping man. (liz capped 7 times on the way back!! and i believe she wasn't the most unlucky)

one gust hits and the boats go down like dominos.. and when we got back to shore, none of the girls could stop smiling. i don't know why but we couldn't.

racing cancelled for all classes today. the sea is totally full of white caps now and the wind has picked up quite a bit. i say sailing is the best sport ever.

40 minutes to go.
