1. I Am Sam (and yes, this beats The Diving Bell and The Butterfly although it was good too)
2. Eating with people I love and I know who loves me too(,like tonight!!)
3. Making presents for people I love
4. Sailing
5. Cycling in the morning and going to Mac's for hotcakes with a friend (watching the sunrise is a bonus)(try it..)(and yes, i am capable of waking up early)
6. Receiving cards with nice messages in them
7. Chatting with my family members..(because sometimes you feel distant, but when you talk to them, you feel a connection)
8. Mac's Hotcakes. this is different from 5 because 5 was directed more towards the cycling and the friend
9. SMSes from bobby when he's overseas, because thats basically the only time i receive his SMSes :)
10. D M N T bob, and other lovely friends.
Anyway, The Diving Bell and The Butterfly sure did bring about some mixed feelings. I think the director did a good job by putting us(the audience) in the author's perspective(a paralyzed man who can only blink one eye). And of course, without this amazing book, we won't have this movie right. So yes, I do recommend this book to everyone. Old and young. It can be powerful to people who need it.
I believe in karma. And I think that explains why I didn't really cry like I usually would, when I was watching the movie. It was weird, because i'd be wailing in normal circumstances. Suzzi and Shufen both cried.. and I just teared a little. I was happy for the author(who passed away 2 days after this book was published) because of the fact that he refused to die in spirit.
That's like the most important thing.
We're not even paralyzed.
