testify to love

my bet is it's not gonna go the way i would like it to, but such is life. come on, they have years ahead of them.

anyway, the regatta is over.. it's by far the most consistently strong wind regatta i've ever sailed. lightest wind was today, around 9-10 knots i think. other than that.. averagely 15-20 knots. FUN.

race 8 capsized twice in the first downwind and lost about 10 boats. that sucks. when i uprighted my boat, there was nobody behind me.
each upwind was about 25 minutes. SERIOUSLY. what kind of upwind is that?!?! i tell u. that's the longest i've ever hiked and played main like crazy NON-STOP in one upwind in a race. (just 2 windward leeward legs each race and they last about 1hr 15min each)

i'm not tall enough. i'm not heavy enough. i don't even have weight in the right places. ahem. why am i still sailing a laser?
COS IT'S DAMN FUN! i think i'm mad. but i really love it. my second year in laser, 5th year as a helm. i say, sailing is the best thing that has ever happened to me.



watching deadliest catch now.. 3 fishermen just died.

dreading school. not because i don't like school. i like school. i'm just dreading it.
