Yes it is June. Things have changed once again and I twinge at the fact that I am an adult. Strange. About time to update the people who are constantly worrying about my studies. I passed my semester! (I think so..?) 4 more semesters to go and I can afford to fail 2 more times so, cross my fingers and hope to graduate. Time for a beer.

Heard the song 'Don't pay the ferry man' on the radio this morning during breakfast and thought of B-man, and the bump-boat rides with the laser sailors towards ubin with our bicycles. Sweet memories. Maybe time to plan my next cycling trip?

But first, I'm heading to Boston for the Tam Family Reunion 2011.

it's march already

Somedays I wish I could be and au pair for my 100 hour compulsory internship. Just can't focus on studying for my consumer behavior test.

Anyway, my Malagasy friend who studies in Tokyo came to Singapore to take shelter from the radiation and the mess for a while.. So awesome to meet a friend after 8 years. She hasn't changed much at all.. and one day, I will travel to Madagascar and maybe meet up again.

2 tests next week, 2 presentations and 1 report week after, 1 more report week after that and then exams.

Rest in peace Yves.

Happy new year!

I'm missing Namibia at the moment. School has started and I opted to do 3 modules this semester, firstly because I want to try to pull my grades up after failing the previous one, and secondly because I don't think I can handle more. However, I do think I want to find a flexi part time job.

I had a gig with UDC today for SCDF's HQ dinner, at Zouk. Enjoyed it lots. I want to learn the toys, like the cowbell, agogo bell and other hand percussion stuff. Carrying that big drum across my left shoulder is tiring.

Happy new year! 7 days late. Lots to look forward to. :)

I can't believe 2010 is coming to an end!!!!

From January to April I was mostly in school, but went to China for ASC in March. It was close to exams and smack in the middle of the main presentation weeks. Summer holidays started after exams, and I went for Sydney at the end of May to get some training in strong winds. Went to Kiel in June for first selection trials. Back in Singapore for a rest in July and then in August, we went to Weymouth, UK for second trials. September was spent in Singapore, where I trained under Mark Plummer. I think sometime in October I went to Perth for the AG training camp. November in China. End of November I flew to Africa. Spent the early part of December in Namibia, with dad and a 4x4. Now i'm gonna have to prepare for school.

Not been in school for 8 months now and it's going to be a challenge to step back in esp since I kinda flunked my last sem in school. Looking forward to it, but kinda uncertain at the same time.

The year ended well and I'll take my lessons with me.

2011, here we go.
